Built Heritage

A community's heritage is that which is inherited from its past. This can include sites, structures, buildings and environments of historic, architectural or cultural interest. The City of Ottawa's objective in conserving significant elements of its past is to celebrate, revitalize, stabilize and enhance the community as well as to contribute to its physical, social, educational and economic development.
