Sidewalk/Multi-use Pathway Construction Program

The City of Ottawa Planning and Growth Management Department, Transportation Planning Branch, has identified various locations for sidewalk and multi-use pathway installation in the spring/summer of 2010. These locations will complete a missing link in the sidewalk network, and enhance the already pedestrian-friendly environment that is promoted by the City. This project falls under the Federal/Provincial Infrastructure Funding.

The City of Ottawa Infrastructure Services Department has completed design of the sidewalks and will be proceeding to tender in early March 2010. There will be several contracts that will cover multiple locations. Please see individual contracts for the list of locations.
